Deviousness Award

Deviousness Award
Marta "`blackeri" Dahlig has been with deviantART since early 2003 and in that time has become one of the most recognizable faces on the site, creating instantly identifiable pieces, such as her near legendary seven deadly sins line, as well as dozens upon dozens of other exquisitely crafted pieces of art.

In an ocean of millions it is not easy to stand out like she does, and even more impressive is that she still finds the time to let everyone know she appreciates their feedback, and even better, takes time to make sure she goes and adds her own feedback to up and coming artists and gives encouraging words of advice where needed.
So go and say hello and check out her stunning work, and give her a congrats for being as devious as it gets for April of 2008!

Sometimes I wonder what life has brought you Marta..
This is the very first time I have visited your gallery. It is quite remarkable, and I'm kicking myself for not knowing about it earlier. After all, you've been here at dA much longer than I have, and I've been here quite a while.

I'm also wondering why you haven't been posting here in such a long time. The talent on display in these images is immense, and the execution of composition is clearly painstaking. It's true that your approach to portraiture doesn't involve much facial expression variation, unless it's quite subtle, and instead you devote real attention to detail of design, textile work, background, etc. ALmost as if you're a fashion designer in real life who gets to really play in 3D software.

If you're posting elsewhere instead of at dA, could you let me know (in a Note if you need to keep things private)? Otherwise, is there a chance you'll be posting new work here?

Thanks much,
