Deviousness |
but you don't paint over the hands heavily... giving the mistaken impression that this was painted from scratch..
please tell your public that you paintover photo graphic reference..honesty is the best policy..
birds are smudge and blur in photoshop/painter..
marta never reveals her drawings..in a work of this kind you
do drawings and work out composition..i have seen no evidence of this
and there is a marked difference between perfect faces and hands and the naively painted background
i also think that her videos discourage young artists as it shows no preparation work at all
except for the appearance of a body or face from nothing..
marta dahlig is only in ger 20s but i have never seen her draw anything
if she showed her refs i may alter my opinion
(deviant art allows opinion and comments on artwork your welcome to disagree) ..
i may point out it is rather easy to fool the untrained eye
to go from photoreal to something that lacks even the basics on the same artwork ..gives me reservations..
by the way i am an illustrator of forty years experience in traditional and digital art..
and i am aware of the ways digital art can be manipulated to do something which is essentially
a photomontage blurred and smudged in photoshop..
p.s. i am not being spiteful..marta was also questioned in a forum about showing her photrefs
as she said she used no refs...so other have asked the same question..otherwise i like some of martas
artwork and have no problems with it..
hope this helps best wishes..
Look at the likes of dark-spider and Enayla, all very similar styles and ALL scam artists, accused (and proven) that they rip off photos and other artists works.
Dahlig may not have been officially caught out yet but she will be. And the worst part is that these are really bad paint overs, look like smudged photos, I'd hate to see how much her quality fell if she actually tried to paint something from scratch.
