"Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work"

This is the fifth from the Seven Deadly Sins series.

Symbolism:

- She is sitting on a swing and blowing bubbles: it's a symbol of wasting your time on insignificant things; idleness

- She is placed above the ground, in the sky: symbol of being separated from Earth and mundane htings (like work etc)

- Feathers: to me they symbolize something sleepy and lazy

- Color: to me light blue is also a color of sleepiness and idleness


Technical:
Done in Painter in approx. 60 hours.

This is my deadliest sin. I'm smart and talented, but extremely lazy and constantly procrastinating and avoiding doing any work. If I could change only one thing about me, I would give myself ambition, drive and initiative.

Very relaxing. I might enjoy this one more than the gluttony pick because it really hits the Sloth. It's so calming, from the colors, to the pose. Lovely.

Clouds could represent night time= sleep time.

If you look in manga or anime, a bubble is often used to convey sleep!

Nice subtleties! Love the dreamcatcher-like frame!

Does being an athiest count as sloth? ( I got this from Sloth is the avoidance of physical or SPIRITUAL work) But still when you are an athiest there is no god. There are also no sins, only terrible mistakes.
