Well, as of 22nd of May I am a married lady!

The wedding was amazing, everything was pretty much perfect! Hopefully I will get pictures soon so I could show them. YAY!

Hey guys,

Oh my goodness, I just noticed how terrible I truly am. First I do not update my gallery, and once I finally do, I forgot to update my journal for like a year.. How sad is it really?


Well, for a quick heads up, on what is going on: I am right doing a load of commercial projects - mobile gaming art, packaging graphic designs, Imagine FX workshops, video tutorials - you name it... Meanwhile, I am helplessly trying to finally launch my website, which is quite a challenge, considering the fact I change my ideas for the layout every second week

For more personal stuff... *drumroll* I graduated from Uni this June, am now starting a PhD programme. Also, *second drumroll* I am getting married in May next year! So, as unbelievable as it might sound, by some miracle, despite the absolute lack of time, I managed to maintain a life!

I also have a very firm resolution to be more up to date with this place. We'll see how well that will go, considering my latest activity...

Meanwhile, I'd like to thank all of you for your patience for me and great support. You're awesome

Hey guys,

Every time I write a journal entry I start by apologizing to everyone and, uhm, this time won't be different.  Once again I wanted to say sorry for my absence and lack of response to notes/e-mails; due to a humongous amount of real-life obligations, I am finding myself bouncing between work and, uh, more work most of my time.

I am horrified noticing I have not published anything in here for nearly a year, yet 2008 has been among my most "artistically" busy times. I have not had any time to prepare a personal piece for over a year and a half, and have spent the past months doing commercial work. The proof I haven't been slacking is here:  you check out ImagineFX magazine for some video tutorials of mine [link] (issues 33-36)

Anyhow, the main reason why I made this post is to say that I finally started working (after a year or so?) on a personal piece which I actually intend on showing. I should manage to update this cobweb covered gallery within the next two weeks.
Meanwhile I would love to thank everyone for their continuous support and feedback. I truly appreciate every comment you leave, even if I do not manage to thank each of you personally. I miss you all a lot and hope to be back soon!

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well on your side of the screen! Due to my lack of any activity I thought to do everyone a little surprise (which I am right now spoiling, so it won't be any surprise at all, but I need your help). And so, can any of you guys advise me on:

1. The best screen recording software
2. The best video editing software (that would allow me to add captions to selected parts of the video etc.)
(those would be preferably easy to use and free )

Any (prompt) help would be greatly appreciated.

Duh, I suppose there's no excuse for such a long absence? I'm not slacking though, I swear.

The truth is I have been working like crazy on many things. Most importantly though, I am currently preparing material for Ballistic Publishing's D'Artiste Digital Painting 2, which I am co-authoring with 3 great artists. You can read about it (or enter!) here: [link]
The material will stay secret until the book's release, so it might take a while for me to update my gallery.

Other than that, I've been on a great trip to Paris with my boyfriend () in February, to celebrate Valentine's and our anniversary. I have to say, this is such an inspiring city, I wish we could've stayed there a bit longer.


Anyway, I hope you bare with me for a couple of months and I hope you won't be disappointed once I actually manage to upload some new stuff. Meanwhile, I hope you are all doing well!

Just thought I should update, so you won't think I got kidnapped in Italy or something

Forgive the lack of art updates. I am not slacking off, I swear. In fact, I am working like a mule. The fruits of my labour can be seen in ImagineFX Issues from Issue 15 to 24.

I am not showing the pieces here as I am facing some sort of hyper self criticism period. I am really bored with my style as of late and am in great need to expand my horizons and experiment.
Soon, I will take a small break to get my inspiration back after which I will probably be back with some very different stuff than what you've got used to.

And yes yes I know I promised my website launch to be soon. I totally suck :S You see, the site (or well, the engine etc) has been actually done for a long while.  But of course I got bored with the layout meanwhile so I am trying to figure out something cooler. Please bare with me!

PS. An enormous kiss for my honey, who is most probably gonna read this sometime soon, when he gets back. *grumblemumble* Love you, M!
